Our Experience
About Us
Medpoint Healthcare Centre was founded in 2007 by President and CEO Alex Hanham and his wife, Dr. Sylvia Murchison, Medical Director. After years in the healthcare system, Dr. Murchison grew frustrated with a model focused on crisis management over prevention.
Determined to shift that focus, Medpoint was created to identify health risks early and empower individuals to take control of their wellness. Starting with one physician, five staff, and 4,000 square feet of space, the goal was simple: help patients understand their health to change their future.
The model worked and Medpoint grew.
Today, Medpoint spans over 30,000 square feet across London and the new facility opening in Burlington, with services including an executive healthcare, wellness providers and multiple specialists. The team includes over 60 staff, 10 family doctors, 28 specialists.
